Dear sponsors,
Blessings in Jesus!
Please know that we do thank God for the important role you have in the lives of our children and Sekela.
Without your sponsorship and invaluable prayers, Sekela and our children would not have the practical and spiritual support that they do need.
The last three months since I returned from New Zealand have flown by, it’s been an extremely hectic time and I have seen the grace and mercy of God in a number of situations! To Jesus be the glory!
I thank God for Pranav Birla, an ex-colleague from New Zealand, who came for two weeks from mid-October. God used Pranav mightily in so many different ways, it was great to minister with him. Our children absolutely loved Pranav and the boys in particular drew close to him. The boys are so in need of a godly male in their lives and it saddens me as the majority of the
children lack this. I thank God that He is the Father to the fatherless.
We love having visitors at the center! Sandra a young Ugandan woman, currently studying in Albania, was in Tanzania for nearly three months. She came to the center to encourage the children through her testimony and by teaching them a worship song.
I am extremely humbled by the director of a private school, who has given the opportunity for ten of our children to attend his school! George Kyahera the director, will pay the school fees and a sponsor will pay for the remaining fees that need to be paid. I am amazed at God’s provision and how he touches people’s hearts to give and be a blessing!
We love celebrating birthdays! In October we celebrated Amina’s birthday and earlier this month we celebrated Joel’s birthday.
Joel is a doctor at a local hospital and when the children go to hospital he attends them and makes their visit smoother. This coming weekend we will celebrate both Sekela and Atusajile’s birthdays!
An exciting development is we have found a three acre plot of land that meets most of our criteria and we are considering purchasing it! Thank you to those who have given finances specifically for land. We have submitted an application for funding to a foundation in the States, to purchase the land and also the costs associated with purchasing the land and the initial set up costs. We are praying that if this God’s will that He will release the finances for this specific plot. The plot of land is located in Nsongwi Juu, a village with a population of approximately 5000 people.
Please prayerfully consider coming to Tanzania and visiting us at the center! Come and meet the child or children you are sponsoring, your life will be impacted!
