A double birthday celebration at the center today for Cairo (15) and Elizabeth (12).
We started the afternoon with the children learning how to make Afghan biscuits and a banana cake, unfortunately no photos.
I gave a message to them both. For Elizabeth I shared Mary’s Song from Luke 1:46-53 and for Cairo I shared from 1 Timothy 1:12-20.
Cairo desires to be a pastor and Elizabeth a doctor. I thank God that He has a hope and a future for these precious two.
As per our custom, most of the children gave the gift of Scripture to Cairo and Elizabeth.
After enjoying a meal, an afghan biscuit or piece of cake, the children proceeded to either make loom bracelets or colour in.
