Dear Sponsors Blessings in Jesus!
We thank God for your support through sponsorship and prayers! Thank you for the important role you have in our children’s lives and the impact your support is having on them! We continue to pray for you on a regular basis.
This year is a time of change for many of our children, regarding their schooling! We covet your prayers for our children and the changes they are facing.
Ibrahim and Nelsoni our youngest children are continuing at nursery but are attending at different primary schools. Yusufu has started at primary school. Please pray for them that they will transition well and have the capacity to engage in learning.
Atusajile, Baraka and Stela are now in standard six. Atusajile continues to receive English tuition at the center. Please pray that she will engage in her studies and apply herself.
Dicksoni, Elizabeth, Emmanuel and Hilda are now in standard seven. This year is crucial for them as they will start secondary school next year. Hopefully they will be able to attend the private school a few of our other children are attending.
Yustar is re-doing form one. She has had a good start to the year and has improved in her exam results. Please pray that she will continue to improve in her studies.
Cairo and Rehema are now in form two. Please pray for Cairo as he is finding his monthly exams difficult. Both Cairo and Rehema are at boarding school, with the hope that they will improve in their studies.
Sarafina is now in form four and will sit national exams in November. She too is at boarding school. Sarafina, along with Cairo and Rehema, they are aware there are certain conditions for them to remain at the boarding school. Please pray for these students that they will study hard and will seize the opportunity that they have been given.
Elesia and Elina were unable to continue at the private school that they were attending and are now undertaking a six month sewing course, which they are enjoying!
Daima completed form four last year and we are now waiting on the government to decide what avenue she will undertake.
Praise God, Kelvin and Sikujua who also completed form four last year, have obtained division three and in May 2017 they will be able to proceed to form five! They are currently learning a computer course.
Please prayerfully consider coming to Tanzania and visiting us! Sekela, our children and I would love to meet you!
With sincerest thanks and much love in Him,
Darlene and Henry Matarrita
