I continued today with teaching our children about evangelism. I used a coin that on one side of the coin is a summary of the Ten Commandments and this verse from James 2 vs 10:
“For whoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”

On the other side of the coin, it talks about how we will have to face a Holy God on Judgment day and how we will be found guilty but we have hope because Jesus took our punishment on the cross and rose again, defeating death, to save us from Hell. We need to repent of our sins and trust in Him today. It concludes with this verse from John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not persih, but have everlasting life.”

I suggested we could use the coin when we undertake evangelism in the future but that we would need to translate the Scriptures and the other teaching to Kiswahili (main language of Tanzania). Our children thought it was a good idea and are keen to use the coin for evangelism.
