“Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love
and faithfulness.”
Psalm 115:1
Dear Sponsors
Blessings in Jesus!
We are extremely thankful to all our sponsors, for your support through finance and prayers! Please know that we do not take for granted, the financial sacrifice many of you make to support our children, in our prayers and we pray and trust that God will provide for your needs. Your support is having an impact on our children, their families, our neighborhood and the wider community of Tanzania, not only for now but also for eternity!
A very warm welcome all our new sponsors who have joined this month!
It was an amazing time when Henry, Darlene and Carina visited us in September, particularly as their focus was concentrated only on our orphan center and our children! Normally they are undertaking Bible teaching, preaching in churches and undertaking evangelism. Our children loved spending time with Henry, Darlene and Carina!
The caregivers of our children are extremely grateful for the support they are receiving
from our center and a few of them came to express their gratitude towards Henry and Darlene.

Darlene playing lolly scramble with our children, a game they absolutely love! Always first up is our
younger children who receive their lollies first and then our older children who scramble to obtain a
lolly or two or three or more ……
Our children love to sing and dance and they were given the opportunity to do so,
when we accompanied Henry and Darlene at a church where Henry preached at.
Our children shared with Henry and Darlene, all the things that God has been doing in and
through the center over the last year since their last visit. Our children were split into groups
of four and each child had an input into their group’s thanksgiving items. We are extremely
thankful to God for His provision through all our sponsors and what He is doing in and through the center!
One of the things our children love to do is bake, preferably cookies and/or cake and
anything with chocolate in! They were absolutely delighted when Darlene baked cookies
with them.
Two of our boarding students, Kelvin & Sikujua (at left) had to return to school early. Before they left the center, Henry prayed for Kelvin & Sikujua, who are in their last year of secondary school. God willing after they complete their studies in May next year, they will be able to start university later in the year. Thank you for your prayers for these two young people.
We farewelled Rehema (at right), who has been my admin assistant for three months and we thank God for her assistance that she has provided the center and I. Praise God, Rehema, has won a position as a principal of a small private secondary school in Morogoro! We are absolutely delighted in God’s provision for her life!
Carina’s main purpose this year was to undertake a video project of our children, the staff and the caregivers of our children. The primary reason for the video is to share with sponsors and prayer partners, the reality of our children and their lives here in Tanzania and how sponsors and prayer partners can pray for our children, the staff and the caregivers of our children.
Carina interviewed all our children and our staff one on one. We also visited one of the primary schools that six of our children attended and Carina undertook a video there of our children. Four homes of the caregivers of our children were chosen and interviews were undertaken of the caregivers and/or our children.

We are extremely thankful to sponsors who made dresses for girls and shorts for boys, which
were gifted to the children in our neighborhood! We love to be a blessing to our neighbors
and the community we are a part of! The local government office and dispensary are absolutely delighted now that their office and dispensary has been painted! They are hoping that the government will provide them with a full-time person to work in the dispensary, as new desks & new chairs have been provided by sponsors via our center ilg
