Dear Sponsors
Blessings in Jesus!
We are extremely thankful to all our sponsors, for your support through finance and prayers! Please know that we do not take for granted, the financial sacrifice many of you make to support our children, Sekela and the center. You are regularly in our prayers and we pray and trust that God will provide for your needs. Your support is having an impact on our children, their families, our neighbourhood and the wider community of Tanzania, not only for now but also for eternity!
We thank God for your support and prayers, our primary school students were able to receive school materials for the current semester. Our students were excited for this new semester as the majority have progressed to the next class, while one of our student’s is completing primary school and two of our students are completing secondary school.
Daudi (at left) is in standard seven and will finish primary school this year in September
and God willing he will be able to progress to secondary school next year. Kelvin & Sikujua (at right) will be undertaking sixth form exams in May, they are hoping to study at university from October. Please pray for these students and their important exams in May and September respectively.
We covet your prayers for two of our students who finished primary school last year. Baraka and Stela (at right),
passed their standard seven year national exams last year, however as the school that they were due to be assigned to, has insufficient classrooms they are unable to start secondary until the extra classrooms are built. In the interim we have placed them into a tuition center for the morning and in the afternoon they are coming to the center
to review their lessons and undertake any homework. Please pray for Baraka and Stela who have been struggling with this situation, particularly as one of their peer’s Atusajile has been assigned and is attending a secondary school.
Thank you for your prayers for Yustar (at left)! Recently we received her form two national exam results, undertaken last year and Yustar did amazingly well! We are so proud of this young woman, who tried her best under difficult circumstances. As
a gift from the center, she chose the red skirt and blue t-shirt she is wearing. The first photo is of Yustar five years ago! Thanking God for this young woman, who is determined to do the best in her studies.
We thank God for sponsors who are specifically providing finances for the caregivers of ourchildren. We have purchased items for the caregivers of Baraka, Daudi, Ericki & Yustar and for their respective projects. Items purchased are for raising chickens, selling timber, selling cooking oil and washing soap powder. Please pray for their respective projects, that it will continue to benefit them and the children under their care.
We celebrated Cairo’s birthday celebration, who is now a young adult of 18 years old! Cairo is in fourth year of secondary school and will be undertaking national exams in November this year. He aspires to be a pastor. We thank God for this young man and for the purposes and plans God has for his life! He was encouraged with different Scripture verses from us. We thank God for Cairo’s sponsors and for our prayer partners who pray for this young man.
We are thankful for God’s provision through your sponsorship and prayers! We too are thankful to
the local body of Christ, here in Tanzania who provide for the center practically and through prayers. Thanking God for all our children, that we have the privilege of mentoring and caring for. Sekela, our
children and I would love to meet you! Please prayerfully consider coming to Tanzania and visiting the child or children you are sponsoring!
With sincerest gratitude and blessings
