“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Dear Sponsors Blessings in Jesus!
We thank God for all our sponsors, for your support through prayers and finances!
We pray for you regularly and trust that God will provide for your needs. Please do not under-estimate the impact your support is having on our children, their families, our neighbourhood and the wider community of Tanzania; the impact is not only for the present but also for eternity!
We love celebrating and we have many reasons to celebrate and give thanks to God! Last month we celebrated Elizabeth and Emmanuel’s exam results from exams undertaken in November 2019. They both did extremely well and obtained division one! Both of them desire to be doctors! They were rewarded with gifts of clothing, which they chose themselves. Please pray that they will continue to do well with their studies and that their relationship with Jesus will continue to develop.
We celebrated the precious lives of Cairo (19) and Elizabeth (16)! Cairo completed form four (O levels) in November 2019 and is waiting on the government to advise where he will be studyingfrom July 2020. Elizabeth is in form three or third year secondary school. As per our tradition, our other children shared Scripture verses with Cairo and Elizabeth or sung them a song.
We thank God for the privilege we have to input into the lives of our children! We welcomed a new girl to the center! Her name is Angela and she is 9 years old. Angela lives with her grandmother and her siblings. They are neighbors of our center. She is transitioning well and already knew a few of our other children who are of a similar age and who either attend the same school as her, or the adjacent school. Please pray for her grandmother Mary who is an asthmatic and is the sole carer of Angela and her siblings.
To Proclaim the Gospel; Equip the next generation; Mobilize the church worldwide
We praise God for His provision through you! The private school of which seven of our children are attending changed to a boarding school last year and progressively our children have had to move into boarding. Emmanuel is our last student to move into boarding at the beginning of February 2020. He was presented with a few items from the center, by Cairo an A level student who gave Emmanuel advice concerning his studies.
From left to right are: Elizabeth, Ester, Hilda, Dicksoni, Sarafina, Yustar, Emmanuel (whom are all boarding) and Cairo.
We thank God for Enea, our social worker/nurse who returned to the center after three months maternity leave. We praise God for the miracle He gave Enea and her husband Emmanuel first time parents, a boy and a girl in October 2019! We were so pleased to see Enea return to the center! Please pray for this family as they continue to adjust to being first time parents and to having twins.
We thank God for all our board members and the gifts God has given them! We were blessed to have Pastor Cones come and teach our older children about the Holy Spirit.
We thank God for His provision through you and the local of body of Christ, here in Tanzania! We are receiving visitors from Mbeya, who saw our sign and wanted to bless us with gifts of supplies such as hygiene and cooking needs and school supplies.
We have so much to thankful for and we give God all the glory that is due is His name!
We thank Him for what He is doing in the lives of all our children and what He has planned for them! Thank you so much for investing in their lives through prayers and finances! God bless you all!
