Dear Sponsors Blessings in Jesus!
We thank God for all our sponsors, for your support through prayers and finances! We pray for you regularly and trust that God will provide for your needs.
We love to celebrate the precious lives of our children! Last month we celebrated Daudi (14), Emmanuel (17), Rehema (17) and Ruteli’s (12) birthdays. Daudi is in the first year of secondary school; Emmanuel is in third year of secondary school and is boarding and Ruteli is in standard seven at primary school and she is due to undertake national exams in September 2020. Rehema completed fourth year secondary school in November 2019 and is waiting for the government to assign her to a government school. Rehema is expecting to start fifth year secondary school in July 2020.
We are pleased to have Kelvin & Sikujua (at right) return to the center from Mwanza and Dar es Salaam respectively, particularly since we have not seen them since October 2019 when they moved to study at university. They are extremely thankful to their sponsors for their prayers and financial support that allows them to be studying at university.
We thank God for His provision through you and through the local church here in Tanzania! We were extremely blessed and humbled by one of our board member’s and their church, who provided us with food, school supplies and hygiene needs.
To Proclaim the Gospel; Equip the next generation; Mobilize the church worldwide
On 18 March 2020 all our children returned home from school, universities and colleges as directed by the government due to Covid-19. Our children were due to remain at home for 30 days and were due to return to their learning institutions on 20 April 2020, however, the government has advised due to the pandemic all students will remain at home until further notice. Since we are deemed as an essential service, currently our children are continuing to come to the center. We have had to split them into two groups at the weekend and they come for about an hour to pray and to eat and each group comes at different times to the other group. We are following hygiene procedures by washing our hands with soap, not shaking hands, not hugging each other, keeping a distance from each other and now we have started wearing masks. Please pray for God’s protection and covering over us.
We are encouraging our children to study and we have set up two groups that meet during the week in the classroom to study, at different times; most of these children will be undertaking national exams this year. Please pray our children will continue to be motivated to study and that God will give us wisdom how best to support our children in these challenging times.
Thank you so much for investing in their lives through prayers and finances! God bless you all!
